The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is a bureau under the United States Department of Health and Human Services responsible for food, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, biological medical products, blood products, medical devices, and radiation-emitting devices. The acronym FDA stands for the “U.S. Food and Drug Administration” and can be expressed in Turkish as “Amerikan Gıda ve İlaç Dairesi.”

The CE mark is part of the New Approach Directives introduced by the European Union in 1985 as part of its New Approach Policy, which is related to products that comply with technical regulations. It indicates that the products meet the relevant directives of the EU and have passed all necessary conformity assessment procedures.
